it depends on the track, a driving license is usually the minimum requirement, so 17.

in saying that, i did one at knockhill when i was 17, i was never asked my age or had to show my license, so if someone was younger but looked older they may have got on

knockhill didnt used to bother in the old days. anyone with any old scrapper could get on and they didnt even look at them. they seemed to tighten it up in the late nineties/early 2000's though where the driving licence id was asked for and a current mot to prove road worthyness before theyed scrutineer it themselves before allowing you on.
i remember in the old days a couple of guys that turned up in a scrapper of a mk2 golf gti with bits missing and hanging off, theyed bought it that morning for Ł50 at a scrappy and they ripped the arse out it all day. obviously they dont care if they hit you in your mitsu evo or cossie etc . at the end of the day they dumped it on the road outside .

Im sure you have to have held a full license for a year now before they let you loose around knockhill now?

Best to give the circuit in question a call they will be able to help you out
