Been in some fast cars in my time and in my eyes a 400hp focus road car is a sharp bit of kit!!

Everybody knows how fast your car is rod and its a credit to you but when was the last time u had a passenger ride in a fast fwd car drove hard? I bet you'd love it!!

My friend has one on a JWR map, mainfold, decat blah blah. 400 spec.

It's lowered on springs.

I've been in it driven hard in the dry and it certainly did not light the tyres through 3rd!!! Even in the wet you can plant more than half of 2nd gear with no drama.

So A the springs make a huge difference, B you have shit tyres, C it didnt real smoke through 3rd in the dry



I fucking love the car though and it goes v v v well.

mine dosent in 3rd either can plant it and it grips like anything,, 2nd if you plant your foot you get no traction what so ever they are an awesome machine

Its has Conti Contact Sport 3 Tyres all round.. and it certainly does light the tyres mate!!

My mate has a 400bhp FRS and against my 400bhp 4x4 saph there is nothing in it,his maybe quicker at take off but the saph is soon on its tail.
On a different note my focus ST is running 315bhp approx and on the way back from ford fair after paying the m6 toll,both me and a JWR RS had a run in and he didn't pull away at all,and JWR is meant to b spot on the money with their conversions,not slating RS power predictions but some are very low to what's being claimed,tho I do think they are awesome bits of kit and if I could afford to change from my ST I would in a heartbeat

The Focus Rs is definitly a good all round raod care IMO.. Its so responsive and loads of torque in every gear. There is alot of conversion's for the Focus, but i found with the Jamsport 400+ its a very aggressive map.. just how i like to drive

Have anyone driven 500 bhp FRS? I heard atleast that they have 500 bhp kits for sale or something. Might be bit of a blast 500 horses on a FWD car.

Most maps are aggressive and the jamsport maps are and that can upset the car in the low gears when trying to get the power down and that is why I went for the Revo conversion as they spent a lot of time developing how the car drove on it and it's a very smooth map and drives just right
Mine is the stage 4+ map that is ment to make 425bhp mine on the rollers a few weeks back made 400bhp and 477 lbft but the intercooler and more important the boost pipes where holding it back at 6000 rpm also by not straping the car down as well the car made over 20 bhp more !!!! So it's very important to get them strapped down or the results can be all over the place
The car is having SpecR bits fitted to it right now and will be back on the same rollers to see how it does now and I hope it sees the 425 this time round

great blast until its wet or cold..... then you can expect 5th gear wheelspins!
