Okay, so I hold my hands up, I made a school boy error today.
I was rushing to get the car started as the low loader to collect it for paint was on route and had to move the car. In my haste, I connected the charger to the battery the wrong way round and turned the battery charger round to INSTANT START which is a high power instant start function. There were no sparks etc and I only noticed as the charger which usually makes a "hmmmmmmmm" noise when on went almost instantly quiet and within 3-5 seconds I realize what I had done and disconnected it. I left it for 10minutes and tired again and the car has no life in it, no dash lights with the ignition, no alarm light flashing etc. What have I killed. I know doing this CAN kill the ECU, but surely with the dash lights not working, maybe its a fuse etc? None of the battery wiring/loom or ignition barrel look melted etc and nothing seemed hot? The car also wouldn't jump start of another car, so I know it's not the battery charger at fault.
It was on the Fakecos running an RS2000 PATS ecu and loom.

check the terminals underneath them make sure nothings melted, tho you would likely smell it tbh
its got to be a main power feed that has gone, a fried engine ecu would not cut off all the cars electrics, its possible you could have done the fuseboard behind the dash as these are pony at the best of times, i think i have a spare one if needed
