How do the side, main and high beam lights work on a Mk3 Capri? From what I can see the side and main lights come on in the outer lens and the inner lens is just the high beam...

Am I right? (Humour me, I'm having an idea lol)

My idea that I'm gonna do on my Capri is I'm gonna take out the inner full beam hadlights and replace them with another set of outer headlights, then mount the full beam lights on the top of the bumper. This gives dipped lights that are twice as strong and cheap spot lights.

Is this the same idea you had?

 

naa i just put 100 watt bulbs in the outers, spots and main beam now i got 600Watts of lite is ace
