DS2500 are a trackday pad not a race pad really. DS3000 is the logical pad to try next if you have been mainly happy with the 2500 other than the heat buildup causing fade.

i have read somewhere that the ferodo ds series pads leave pad deposits on the discs and that is what causes the juddering is this true or complete bollocks ? was thinking of the carbone lorraines rc6 pads allround has anybody used these before ?

try the mintex 1166 or the f2's they work well in most things racing ! ferrodo and ebc will deposit badly in race conditions well tbh i wouldnt even put ebc's in a race car

Carbon Lorraines if you don't mind the mess...

BUT

Do NOT use them on the road in the wet and drive hard they are seriously hard and will kick the ABS in too much.

On my clio I suffered NO fade what so ever when I did my track days.... but they painted the car gold - it did come off but with a lot of elbow grease.

J

Edit to say that I would consider CL's dangerous for road applications having driven with them they're a lot to get used to PLUS they will do fuck all miles

Maybe you should look into availability of proper race pads such as:
Pagid RS
Ferodo DS1.11 & DS2.11
Hawk DTC30 & DTC70
etc

I race on DS3000 - they're ideal.
