Default Nissan CA18det powered sierra?!

Right well what do you'd reckon?
Ca18det into a fully stripped and lightened 3door shell ( not my White one)

The engine is as sweet as a nut 35000 miles and a manual , will be getting it cheap and complete of a mate.
I know these engines aren't the most powerful and not as good as the sr20 engines but with a few mods and turbo swap 300bhp is a nice figure and should be nice in a empty shell.
Will make a good little drifter and track toy.
Going to keep it looking standard with L bumpers.

I'll be fully caging it for protection made by myself.

And no I'm not just gonna fit a yb in it cos it's easier because I already have one and not having one in another car lol

Will be starting a thread in a month or 2

why ask then?

only messing seems a good project but i can see it being alot of fabrication and wiring work.

Nice motors and relatively cheap to tune.

Cool sounds like you's are on the same wavelength as me.

Yeah I don't think I'm gonna have to do alot of fabrication to tbh. Custom engine mounts and gearbox mount and a 1 off propshaft.

I'm also going to modify the rear beam to 0 degree camber making it true trailing arm
I'll be using 4x4 LSD arms and beam . Cos I don't like camber!

Mmmm 5pot st lump thatll be a nice one to do

Yep I'll keep it updated I'll get a few pics soon with how it stands .

Fair play, but it does seem like a very strange approach.

Would only make some sense if you already had all the bits, ie a donor car.

But I know I sure as hell wouldnt bother. Just not enough gain or benefit to make it worthwhile.

I know what you mean mate but the shell and engine are penuts, if they weren't so cheap i wouldn't bother doing it either.
I have enough spares to build up a sierra. Plus Itll keep me away from the missus and her soaps
