Mlr 30-130 2012
Anybody planning on doing it this year?
I know its more of an Evo thing on the Saturday but they do an all marque day on Sunday too.
Would love to see what Scooby Slayers Supra could do, Ade and Rods Saphs if they are up and running etc.

I imagine this is a fantastic chance to see some quick cars lay down their times, if it was closer to me then I'd probably go along.
Cheers,
Grant

I love to see Rods car get trounced doing this. Might do his ego a world of good.
I know already 2 cars that have entered have done 190+ in a standing KM. Plus JamieP looks to be wanting to have a go too.......

id like a go if the cars ready, my pb with the g tech is 8.7 seconds.
problem is im full steam ahead with the kit car so supra has just sat since pod, il have to get on the case and get the clutch parts ordered, once thats done got electrical issues to sort and im hopeing leaning off issues will be resolved once electrics are sorted.

shame it isnt a spectators event due to being held at an air base
and as already said the record held by ross will take a serious car to beat
dont think any ford out there could do it imo

Luke yours would be interesting. Id love to have a go in my car if it was working.
Ross's car is likely to be very fast again, as is the Lateral Performance Subaru

I'd like to try the kit car at this event, March could be a bit cold/wet, do they do it more than once per year?

This needs to be a spectator event. Can't believe it's not possible to go watch, gutted.

It would be boring as sin as a spectator unless you know people and they'll take you out for a few runs. MLR normally have live timing which is good enough for me at home.
Lee your car would be quite interesting too

A big screen displaying the times would be good enough for me. Like pod really. Just instead of a quarter mile, it's fastest between 2 times?

The MLR crew always have a large widescreen tv on-site, but you can see the live timing on your pc at home... if you're not taking part it's far preferable to sit at home and see the times than standing on a cold Norfolk airfield in mid-March.
TBH the runway is so long, Ross has got to 130 before you even see him appear, lol. The GTR's sounded lovely as they passed doing top speed runs though...

Im booked in but I dont expect much tbh, a cold march day in a powerful RWD car = lots of wheel spin im guessing, should be a fun day out though.
That record is a serious time, my car does about 125 in 3rd so means i will need to do 3 gear changes an all.
