If I had £60k spare, I'd snatch Martin's arm off for the Escort......but hey, I only personally don't have a thing for Ferrari's, although I fully appreciate Porkie's comments, he owns a lovely Ferrari, and probably has as good a inside knowledge as to what the Escos is actually ''worth'', part and development wise as what Martin does.
Pretty sure you'd be hard pushed to buy a car able to do what Martin's car will do ''out of the box'', and I guess I'd be at his workshop every three months getting it sorted or serviced.......but oh oh oh for that smile factor when you press the go pedal.............just once.!!!!
I think I'd sex wee.!!! pmsl.

Think you are MASSIVELY underestimating how much it costs to track and run and repair a 700bhp Escort Cosworth with parts like a OSG sequential gearbox...
Ferrari needs servicing once a year. Thats IT really. Tyres aren't expensive and its not heavy on them really. No more than a 700bhp Escort!
The Carbon brakes are alot to replace. About £8k for Discs... BUT you dont need to replace them like you do steel ones. The pads are £2k. but again last for AGES.... I just had to replace mine not because they were worn. but because I put the car away last winter when it was wet and they corroded
Bending it would be a wounder I admit. Gonna be alot cheaper to fix the Ford!

But the osg box is very reliable so dosent really come into it and im sore your box is a hell of a lot more! plus the ap raceing 380 mm pads are not any where near 2 grand so u can spunk a few set and still be ok if you are using yours as a hard core track car you will run them down and one set will cost you 2 grand not to mention tyres whats on it? i bet a set of rear p zeros are more than 4 r888s on the escort! maybe your right i dont really no! just carnt see it if you was using them both as a hard core track car as at the end on the day one is an escort lol and the other well if anything big went on it or it developed a can wireing fault or something like that how much is ferrari an hour

proberly not that many but if you look at things like brakes suspenion clutch general wear and tear the bits are not going to cast any wear near what they cost on the 430 he said the front brakes are 8000 grand lol i bet you could almost buy all the above on the escort for that! dont get me wrong im not knocking the 430 in any way its an awesome car! but if the escort is built well using top class bit which it is, its not going to be un reliable so general things that wear out will not cost as much to fix even more so if you have to pay some one to fix them for you!
