Had some discs and pads fitted to the front(both sides) and after doing about 300-400 miles when i apply the brakes as i slow down i start to hear something scraping as if its going round with the speed of the wheels. When its wet/raining it seems to quieten down to the point i can hardly hear anything.? Brakes work fine though and the discs are nice and smooth still, nothing is catching as far as i can see

Sounds like a back plate catching

yeah check the backing plates, I put some new discs on my sisters car and the back plate was catching so I just bent it out a bit.
