Well blow me down with a feather as I saw a repeated drunk driver earlier today going past me like his ass was on fire outside a school, so call the local police who tell me to report it dialing the new 101 number to control so I do this to only be told what do I expect them to do about it, Pretty fooking obvoius I replied nick the t*at, gave them all the details etc and then mr plod tells me unless a officer sees him in the act they wont send out a patrol to look for him, so whats the fooking point of reporting crime, and my parting comment was sorry to take you away from your dougnuts we will wait until he kills someone then

I was shocked as they were not interested at all even though I reported it in under 60 seconds too

driver is on 10 year ban for repeated drink driving

I once chased/followed a pissed driver halfway accross Surrey,whilst on the phone to the police, whilst they tried to get a unit free to get to us, after about an hour he stopped, staggered out the car an that was it... All there cars were 'too busy elsewhere' Wouldn't of minded, but it was about 2in the morning!? Don't think they can be bothered, unless they see the offence themselves....

They would rather pulll me over in my truck becuse i had a trailer with a mudflap missing, having no mudflap could be very dangerous to the public, a lot more than a drunk arsehoe driving like fuck passed a school.

the fact that when I saw him staggering into the car with a can of special brew and could hardly stand or speak gave it away ,he lives in my road and is a convicted known repeat offender, I just looked down the road and low and behold the car is back ,so it looks like he had hours of fun in a non insured and taxed car which the police wont do fcuk all about ,but if I drive mine with my tax out by a day or two I bet I get done

What I did was contact my local neighborhood poilce with that intention who told me to dial 101 and speak to the central colating office for the metropolitan police who were the people that said sod all can be done and it was not a 999 matter, even though I witnessed a crime taking place ,bloody pathetic

A couple of years ago my dad was telling me about someone who rang the police to report a robbery in progress, after the police had had plenty of time to get there and the burglar had cleared off he rang them back and told them to forget about his first call as he had killed the intruder (obviously he hadn't, it was just sarcasm) so there was no need for them to attend. Within a couple of minutes there was just about every cop in the town at the scene.
The police just don't seem to be bothered nowadays. I agree with what david 100 has said, i don't believe that there has been a drop in crime i think people have just lost faith in the police and justice system and can't be arsed to report crimes as they know nothing will be done.

Has to be said, rather than making a sweeping statement saying ALL police are cocks lol.....the police do tend to fuck themselves up the ass at times with regards to the publics respect for them when they respond to genuine complaints/reports like this
Just going by my own experiences seems they're really not interested in anything other than an easy arrest or fine lol, i do understand them saying how understaffed they are etc etc but they don't half seem selective in what matters they choose to 'respond' to and how they go about it......

I stopped a drunk driver the other week, turned his engine off etc. Have to go to my local PSNI station to give a statement on Saturday and possibly will have to appear in court.

They came out and lifted the fella no hassle

a few years ago i dropped my missus of at home about 2 in the morning and past a drunk driver, you could tell he was as he couldnt keep on the right side of the dual carrigeway, i turned round and followed him while on the phone to the plod giving a running comentary of what his driving style was where he was on the road what he nearly hit etc and followed him all the way to his house watched him park up etc all in all about a 15 min drive, the police said they would send someone out, i left his house and went on my way.

my missus works for the police and i asked her to find out what had happened to him, she made relevent enquiries only to find out as they under staffed it was left and 'timed out' meaning any call un attended in a certain time just gets removed from the system!

We think our police cant be botherd, how's this me and the wife was in a restaurant in Tisilivi in Greece two weeks ago and a bus wanted to turn right to go past the restaurant but a car was in his path and neither of them would give way so the car driver jumped out and got in the bus and pulled the keys out and threw them on the road, anyway the bus driver got out and a fight started, the restaurant owner and myself went to try and part them, next thing we knew the bus driver pulled out a knife, so with me being a brave hero i said "fuck this" i left them to it, the police came and took the knife of the bus drive and to my amazement got back in the car and fucked off, i said to the restaurant owner what happens now, he said thats it , end of story.

Its law to wear a helmet on a motorbike in greece but we never see one rider wearing one.
