look all i know is i had it mapped at 21 psi @ 281 whp on standard intercooler
went back 2 week later with pro alloy intercooler
and it made 300whp @ 14 psi peaking to 16 psi it lost a bit of torque because of less boost but made more power with less boost
who here has put a pro alloy intercooler on and been able to use the same boost without altering fuel by a heap load my injectors max out 370bhp ish hence the reason we had to lower boost

pay attention steve the touch pro 2 was used I bought it off ebay password locked I unlocked the fooker but can't get it to register on the network provider
I have been given a refund and told to keep the phone
I recon I need to enter some network codes somewhere as far as I can work out
some fooker must be in the mobile phone industry on here

No seriously, there's a lot of different cam choices, if you want outright power, just think a lot bigger than what you have now, a standard cam on the exhaust really holds back a t4 engine IMHO mate, back to the 80s with a 16/14 still works well!
But I'd speak to whoever is going to map it, thats the best advice

i said at 1st it was 315whp then looked at the graph and its actually
300 whp so i was only 15 whp out not 70 like u making it out to be and it peaks at 16 psi and holds 14... all my bhps are whp not flywheel so making out like ive knocked 70 bhp off is a bit of an exaggeration

leave your exhaust cam alone for now change your inlet and make sure you buy a pack of valve pockets moanstone
your car is laggy enough with a t4 and std gearing and the slug change BW gearbox
You are best to run a shorter duration inlet cam with substantially higher lift than your current inlet cam

I hate STD ex cam t4 engines they feel shit to drive, no, zing, if you know what I'm saying, flat almost. I know what I mean

try bolting a gt28 with small housing then see how quick boost comes on lol its mega mental ha

Tony, I agree with Justin. Sounds like it could be a nicked/lost phone and has been blocked. Which would explain why whoever sold you it has refunded you and told you you may as well keep the phone.

Did yours have a t4?
I've mapped a standard exhaust cam bd16inlet t4 engine very recently, and compared to the 16/14 I done even more recently it feels shit, the 16/14 car felt and went so much better.
I don't see that as talking out my arse. But thanks for coming on and giving such a good input. talking out your arse

jim if your mapping that cam combination you will know that a low and mid range rpm and boost areas you will be taking fuel out as the ve is worse until you get up the rpm range and boost level compared with stock cams and abo7's etc
some people like peaky revy power bands but they tend to be young spotty and smelly roflol
A road car with road gearing is much better with a wider torque band and less bhp

I understand what your saying, but that's not the case, Have a look at gav diamond graph, it has a dead flat torque curve, nothing peaky about it
