YOur such a tosser
So what your telling me is, when you put your foot down, (when were talking about spread of power and torque) your not actually using full throttle but now were talking about part throttle?
Your probably right in that case, that tyhe smaller cam combo will be better, I'm talking about full throttle spread of power and torque though

jumbo you are such hard work
you are sat at the lights on the way to aldi it's on a hill you go to pull off and it won't
because the 16 14 combination has no off boost torque what so ever
it will however pull off once you have activated the clever pectel start line strategy nailed the throttle to the floor activated als hit 6k rpm and 1 bar of boost and smoked the fooker for the next 500 yards

these are road cars jim using your suggested cam combination will ruin the guys road car when what he actually wants is a fast road car not a race car
nothing wrong with your theory though jim because then you can charge him to change his engine spec when he comes back roflol
jim you are young and spotty there is no way we are going to believe that you can drive a t4 powered yb with 550bhp and laggy cams on full throttle
I'm not one of your matess down at mcdonalds lol

Ps, Mine will be having exactly that and I'll be driving it full throttle most places to start
And stop taking the piss!

The new gaskets and new bolts don't make the power though
What flavour injectors are on there...? As for the "old shitty ford ECU" comment, there's nothing stopping one running a much more powerful engine, after all, all it does is calculate when to inject fuel and fire a spark, and their "old shitty" 8 bit processors can do that in their sleep
Always find it funny how people assume that because something's old it's automatically incapable of doing something it was actually designed to do.

Modern ECU'S in the main just have the capability to run extra gismos natively it's akin to say a Nokia 5110 and a N95, they both achieve the same fundamental end result, i.e. being able to make and recieve calls, it's just the latter can do alot of other NON essential stuff as well!

makes this gt28 car 300 hub power, 330 engine hp which is about right.
every time i see these figures it tallies up from a hub dyno to dd, or these cars are magical and making power from nowhere lol

i think that more than sums it up tbh, on these hub dynos just add about 10% for a realistic engine power figure, and add 17.5% to dd whp.

Quite easily tbh, a friend of mine's car makes 267whp on a GT28rs (po-ta-toe) at 15psi on a 1.6 SOHC 16-Valve engine. So bigger capacity, bigger turbo should see you doing 300 at the hubs

Found my old dyno sheet, this was on a gt28

That looks very good! Isn't it quite extreme to already have almost 290 lb-ft at 2500 rpm and still be able to do as good as 400 bhp? I suppose the bhp figure can be had with a T34.63. But that turbo will never make as much torque at 2500 rpm.
What's the spec of that engine, if you don't mind telling?
