Its about 25mpg depending on what you paid per litre ( calculated on 1.36 per litre ) Id be crying if that was me lol but youve gotta expect some were round there for a vr6

If you want to check yourself:

Cost of fuel(litre) x 4.54 = cost per gallon

Divide total cost by cost per gallon = number of gallons used

Divide number of miles by number of gallons = MPG.

So £1.38x 4.54= £6.36 per gallon

£35/£6.36 = 5.58 gallons

145.2/5.58 = 26MPG

all depends on how and where it was being driven? if that was on a motorway at constant speeds then it's shit, if it's round town then it's good. if it's a bit of both then it's ok, as folk have already said the VR6 is a thirsty motor.

With 26.03 MPG i think i would be happy with that, if i was having fun while driving it.

Now i get 36.07 MPG (ish) with the MG ZS and think thats utter shit as there is no fun while driving it! I would be happier with more MPG as its not fun, but if it was fun then say 26.03 MPG would be great in my eyes.

Are they fast cars? Is it fun?

Sounds about right, my VR6 does roughly 40 miles to £10 normal driving.

Rises to between 34-38mpg on a run so can't complain

i've just been on a little break away using all A roads, getting just under 48 to the gallon, Astra van 1.3 diesel.

Not bad!

Fuel amount £ 60.00 in tank
distance 462 miles.
