Me thinks i have pretty much done the head gasket, plus i am really thinking i have a braking problem, I was hoping to get it thu the MOT and ask SCC to sort the brakes, but the car is smoking so badly now since the blockage in the oil cooler that i cant drive the coont anyway, i am fucking gutted to say the least, just cancelled the insurance as i ant fixing this now for a while cos i cant be fucked

head gasket would be white, as it would turn to steam when it hits the hot exhaust

depends if you warped the head, if it has failed for any other reason than over heating, you can get away without skimming, not ideal but very feasible.

I doubt starving the engine of oil would do a head gasket fella!
Its more likely to be a turbo or engine internal issue imo!

brakes are a coont, it just doesnt stop well, so to be honest i am really not bothered about rushing to fix the gasket, if i still have brake issues, so may as well take my time and do it properly,

Its strange tho as the car was perfect no smoke no noise nothing, ran really nice, even westy was saying it sounded good and said not even a puff of smoke on start up, but no since the oil cooler prob its smoking bad, gor mayo in the dipstick and smoke out the block i think, but not sure on that last bit as it may just be buring off spilt oil or summit, but it dont look healthy,
