Im aware of the back pressure issues Jim, dont worry. I should of mentioned that though, as it does seem to be the GT's downfall.

On the other hand, I do follow what the Evo people do with HTA range of Turbos which is basically what a GTX is anyway.

wont the choice be down to how you want the car to drive???

i use a GT35 r on my focus,
drives nice, and when i boot it i get peak boost at 4200 rpm @1.7 bar, then tails off to 1.5 bar and hold all the way to limiter,
change up still on boost etc.. but it suits how i drive

A GT3071 will do 520hp on a Cossie,

and a GTX3071 will do a easy 528hp on a Evo

and even better a BW200sx over a GTX3071

Not yet but here is the S300SX testing on the road, this is the engine being run in and this is the max boost run,

You need to speak to who's mapping it. As different mapping techniques will give different results anyway, and different tuners use different spec turbos anyway

yup i agree. t4 is top end power. i have a t4 on a 2 l zetec. the thing pulls hard but the trick is to keep it in the powr band all the time
