it transformed the rear end of my car.( i think if you ask anyone with a 6deg beam fitted they will tell you the same thing.) i could tell as soon as i drove it down the road, and the grip is vastly improved. The other benefit is increasd tyre life as they don't wear on the inside edge. depending on milage it could pay for it self in 2yrs just on tyres.
cheers john

it's 1 of the best mods you can do to a cosworth. you have big handling benefits for road and track use, also as mentioned less tyre wear.

Surely they would only be interested in a valuation of the beam in case they need to pay out for it?

Not really.

They may think you'll turn into a road hero as the car handles so much better.

Same as big brakes will stop like a mo-fo but I guess they could think that means you go faster becauser you can stop harder...

As Chop has pointed out a item on your car that enhance's its performance is going to add to your cost of insurance.

i suppose each company has a different view, as with most mods. i would always advise people to tell their insurance about any mods done to there cars.
