Great conversion and good advice by Twins there, know what he means

I reckon you'd comfortably do it for under Ł500 if your doing the work yourself, might even be enough left over for uprating the brakes and or suspension

Lots of good info and tips in here:

I would be doing it with my uncle so we would do as much as we could, I should hopefully do it early next year as i get a lump sum of money, i would be upgrading brakes too for sure. Hopefully suspension too.

Could someone please give a list of things i would need maybe?

Best way to do this would be just buy a 2.0 mondeo and go from there?

2 litre won't go straight in. Will need the 1600-1800 sump, pick up pipe etc fitting to it.
Were as if you buy a 1800 it'll drop pretty much straight in.
If you pick up a 1800 130bhp lump it's only 6bhp less than the 2 litre.
Eva way it's a great conversion.
