Default Saph cos 4x4

Hi

I have a 1990 saph 4x4 cos thats a lil bit poorly, When driving it normally it will build up speed no problem, but when I put my foot down the engine starts to missfire, popping as if over boosting and also the rev counter jumps up and down.

I have replaced the phase sensor in dizzy, spark plugs and even the coil.
Any ideas Please????

I believe the two things that cause the rev counter to spaz out are phase sensor and crank sensor. Although I might be corrected. Prob worth changing the crank sensor imo

Do you not have a boost gauge?

My car had this problem and it turned out to be the engine loom that was fuckered,

process of elimination with any annoying mis-fire, start with the cheapest things to replace 1st
