I can guarantee you if I take my car there I won't be able to achieve it's topspeed within the length. I can on the motorway.

The only thing brunters tells you is how fast you can go at brunters, not your ultimate topspeed. Rod has even told you that.

I believe its top speed entering the mile, and for a mile.

So like doing the 100 meters running, but doing 120m so when you hit the start line, you're already at top whack.

I might be wrong though!
