Focus st help!!! Boost sensor

Default Focus st help!!! Boost sensor

Any idea were the turbo boost sensor is located on the focus st, the turbo dont seem to be kicking......

map sensor is located down the side of the drivers side headlight area i believe

I would have thought you would have problems all together (As well as EML) if that was the case. Have you checked for boost leaks etc?

Ok so i disconnected the map sensor and when i rev it at standstill turbo gauge dont work but when i reconnected the turbo gauge was going up to half on full rev, so the map is ok aint it?

more likely to be the boost control solenoid,about £40 from the dealer,its located under the turbo on the manifold I believe

Out of interest does this have three outlets on in (Essentially a solenoid) like say an Amal valve?

You access it by taking off the drivers side front wheel, then arch liner off, and it is in behind there.
