Default Suspension/transmission differences between standard Puma 1.7 and FRP?

As above. Obviously the engine is tweaked, and it has the wider body, but what was done to the suspension and running gear to accommodate the wide track? Presumably it had different lower arms, but what else is different?

Ta!

Revised Ford Puma B5 Five-speed
Viscous-coupled, limited slip differential
Longer driveshafts
revised bottom arms
Independant MacPherson struts with uprated offset coil springs and dampers, anti-roll bar ( i think it was eibach)
Semi-independent twist beam with strut-type uprated coil spring and damper units, rear spacers (12.5mm i think )

I thought LSD was an option?

So basically it had different lower arms and rear hub spacers to push the track width out?

Then longer shafts too. Other bits were just to improve handling. Just wondering how they made them wider!

longer shafts, longer steering arms, custom hub carriers to correct camber, longer lower arms. rear use 20mm beam to hub spacers on each side, 30mm if its a press car.

All boxes were revised ib5 boxes with shot peened first and second gears. LSD was optional.

lsd started off being a standard feature but changed to being an option, which also slightly lowered the price by the same amount as the option
