to be fair, i did see one of the guys putting a cable tie onto a pipe he's removed when he did the run on the rollers, but can't remember what car it was, might have been a focus of one of the rst fiestas

I'm confused why do you cable tie a vacuum hose back on? Doesn't it have one of them funny clips that I don't know the name of but I've seen are what hold the coolant hoses on a Focus and probably plenty of other cars or a jubilee clip? Cable tie sounds a bit pikey?
