Default What oil to use in my cosworth 2wd engine H

Hi to all i am new to this forum so bare with me pls. I have a question to ask you all . I own a ford capri that at the moment has a cosworth yb 2wd engine that i am having trouble with . I a always finding oil leaks under it . The grade of fuel i used was Fuchs Titan race pro-s 10w-50. Is this a very thin oil that is causing the oil leak cause before it never leaked .And if so what type of oil should i use .thx

The oil is not causing the leak, 10w50 is rather thick anyway (and just fine). That said a seal is leaking and you should have it fixed. Check the cranskshaft seal at the front.

id start from the top

cam cover gasket
cam seals
pressure switch
oil feed pipe to turbo
oil feed pipe on turbo
oil return on turbo
oil return pipe
cam seal
rear main seal
sump gasget

look around the dizzy also

another thing to try is put some clean cardbord under the car as that will indercate the area where the leak is coming from
