How much does it cost? Do you just send your dash off or what?

The cost of flocking all depends on what dash you want flocking, you can either come to us and drop the parts off in person and collection once the work is completed, or you can simply wrap it up and we can arrange our courier to come and collect/deliver the parts or we also have a drive in drive out service, although the car would need to be left with us for a few days also depending on how work is involved.

Hope this helps, and thanks very much guys for the kind recomendations, much appreciated.

True! Very rare that a trader still has the same deep passion and enthusiasm as the man in the street does. Defo seems more than "just a job" to him. Refreshing and fuckin' good at what he does!

just a quick one, can it be done in situ?
reason is my dash is in the car and cage stops it coming out easily. interested in having it done as it's got to be better than the shiny 80's ford plastic finish.

Hello Sean,

unfortunatly it cannot be done, dont get me wrong you can can still apply the adhesive and also use a portable applicator to do the flocking but you have no control over the flock angles and you have no way of curing the dash. When in this situation we tend to make up small plates and cut out the dash so it can be removed and refitted. Once you have refitted the dash the plates are self tapped in place to hide the cuts made if that makes sense. Its very commin for cages to be installed stopping the dash from coming out, but in the future I can guarantee the dash will come out at some point so I would be too phased about removing it, once its flocked and plated back up you would harld tell the difference.

Also if it was flocked in situ you would be cleaning flock fibres from every crevis for months and month, its a very messy job (but somebody's gotta do it lol)

another idea is a custom carbon fibre dash, im currently working on one at the mo, really light weight with only the bare essentials, and before anyone says it will give bad glare, it will be have the top side flocked to prevent this, not seen this done before as far as im aware.
