Ive been looking at these and wonderd if anyone had any experience of them? Ive noticed you can get a 6.0vxr for about 10k now

Yes.

Mate has an early Monaro, 5.7 LS1, goes very well indeed and makes a lovely noise. He might be tempted to sell it for the right price. Total performance bargains IMO, cracking engines and very tuneable.

Another mate has a VXR8, goes like hell, sounds fantastic and is surprisingly agile for the size of it.

I was passenger in a VXR a few years ago, doesn't feel special on the inside but they're such a laugh, sound great and really tail-happy.

Lots of kit too, certainly a lot of car for the money.

My mate had a black VXR, awsume machine, :he couldn't drive it for sh!t though

my pals dad has a black one, he says they go pretty well ,,, the sound of them is just lovely especially with an upgraded exhaust, pretty cool cars id say.

barton the ex editor of total vauxhall mag had a demo car and took a few of us for a ride - sideways everywhere and they can do pretty awesome rolling burnouts

been a passenger in one. if you can get past the interior which when you consider the shit in most 90s fords many on here drive is perfectly smart and decent (even if behind compared to equivilent cars in the 00's when they came out), then they seem a great car.

youd have to get some holden badges for it just to get rid of vauxhalls shit rebadging attempt at "ownership".

Awesome cars, been in several. That V8 is a simple, beautiful work of engineering art Big lazy grunt, I love it.

Try and get a 5.7VXR as the fuel tank is lower down and doesn't take all the boot space.
