Default xenon lights BIG PROBLEM!

Hi guys/gals.
First of all i am new to the site and am wondering if anyone can post a pic up of their standard xenon lights from the rear after they are opened up? only my high beam has d2s fitted? is this standard only where the wires go into the d2s on the high beam they look like a sealed unit??? This is very annoying as one of mine has failed and need to replace before mot!! Also one of my sidelights on the o/s/f flickers whether engine is running or not? I will post pics up tomorrow when i strip it down again.

Any help would be very very very much appreciated in advance. Cheers.

ftm my car is a mondeo st220 52 plate

Question really is.... should the high beam bulbs be d2s?????????????????

which car?

if it's a ford then the most likely culprits are the 2 eather wires that run in the main headlight units failing, replacing them solves the flickering problems in all the cases i seen

if a bulb has failed on xenons its most likeley the ballast unit has caused it, if you just replace the bulb it will go again in no time at all and the bulbs are not exactly cheap

£16 a pair delivered from hids.co.uk - Ordered new ones for my E39 as my existing ones were well into 2500 hours and starting to change colour temperature after being on for a while.
