Default Saph exhaust

I keep wanting my cossie to sound louder not sure why :-( is it wrong of me too want this it has full stainless not sure what bore size I'd guess 3' as that's what the tail pipe is it has back box and center box would it be a bad thing to remove center box

i have no centre box and its very loud, at 4000rpm it is 104db ( stationary)

I have no centre box either, sounds the nuts on full chat but quite similar to when it had a centre box on idle

I think it's because I've had a few jap cars Subaru with hks loud exhaust and an rx7 twin turbo full turbo back 4' no boxes and the cossie sounds so quite but I also don't want it to sound like a civic or Saco with a massive exhaust

i hated it when i took the middle box out of mine but it did sound nice on boost tho. It was too loud for me and i put the middle box back in.

Take the middle box out and get a 4" back box - that will do the trick

Lol lol I'm sure it would if it wernt so expensive I would go and have center box changed for a straight bit of pipe but if I do it and don't like it it's prob 50-100 down the drain p.s your plug was posted this morning matey

yer i got 2 middle boxes i believe and always wanted to take them out to give it more of a racey sound. It wont cause any damage but im sure back pressure will be effected? Please can someone confirm?

theres a big wright up on exhauts in a redline mag we have at work from a company who makes race exhaust and they say with a turbo car there is no such thing as a bore that is to big plus a turbo car needs no back pressure they say the only thing back pressure helps with in a turbo car is stopping oil passing by week turbo oil seals causing smoke!

I think it sounds alright, i've only got a 3in scorpion tailpipe so I think that stops it from sounding too lairy

Nar mate it sounds real nice esp on idle and boost. But i got some copy of scorpian exhaust with big bore 4 tail pipe but i want it to sound deep all the time

Oh right i thought back pressure helps power the turbo but im no expert

Depends really on whether you want it reversible but I'd hazard a guess at £130+

I brought the pipe and clamps from burton's. Didn't cost more that £50 iirc
