Ford Fair Tickets issue (CLUBS)
Has any club actually recieved their tickets yet ? ,why the hell they post club bookings out so late is beyond me as it makes it a nightmare to try and get them out to all to our members 
as not everyone lives in the same area or region of the country ,Dan from FF did mention to me it was a ticket handling company that post out the tickets but their service is shocking and will cause no end of bloody problems ,We pay early and still get fcuked about

There has been a big problem at the printers which has caused problems with distribution. Sorry!

I did Dan and was told it would be this week at some point ,as indivduals have them posted direct to their door and most have theirs already so there is no further delay for them ,but then clubs like ours which have 40 tickets to hand out posses a logistic nightmare and some clubs of course have even more tickets so their problem is made even worse,Clubs must get their tickets far sooner ,as we now have 7 working days to recieve and re post out tickets and thats if they even turn up today which is highly unlikely ,really really not happy with their service and when so much money has been paid well in advance a printing issue etc simply is not good enough as it makes future publishing look bad ,so next year you best kick them up the arse or get a new printing firm and get them out weeks sooner or sh*t will hit the 
big time ,and if we dont have them soon it will hit the fan even sooner anyway

Ford Fair are using 'SEE Tickets' who in my experience send the tickets out a week or so before the event.
I went to a Foo Fighters concert with over 70,000 people there and they done the same thing.
Surely it would be easier to send the tickets out almost immediately thus saving them a massive printing/postage operation the week before the event?
On the otherhand I booked tickets to see Lee Evans with Ticketmaster last september and received them a month later (october 2010) and the show isn't until this Sept 2011! How's that for service!
I went to a Foo Fighters concert with over 70,000 people there and they done the same thing.

This is a serious issue and needs looking into as I now have just 6 days to recieve and re post tickets out .Future publishing need to kick seroius arse now ! ,as whats the point is paying so far in advance if they still arrive so bloody late

Thing is that there is no point in getting upset with the staffers on the msg when someone else deals with the show side of things, there are 3 possibly 4 folk you need to complain to, and personally I'm still trying to figure out why future have sent me an email addressed to mr Anderson

Im not upset with FF ,apart from their choice in using a shonky printing company who is making life fooking hard in leaving me no time at all to sort out peoples tickets,between our members and sponsors we have paid them Ł1450 for shoddy service,so Im gonna moan as its just not good enough dojj

as for peeps who are worried about forgieries, all the tickets have serial numbers on so that sort of stops that, or i hope it does

you should be pointing your ire at the peeps who organise the tickets though mate, dan just taps on his computer and words come out the other side

well surely its the person who actually sorted the order out for the tickets not researching a good company (prob the price was the all important ) and putting the company to deadline for the print ! piss poor organisation imo

well our tickets finally came ,so now its a mad rush to get tickets to all the folk camping and travelling from other parts of the country ,which is major pain in the arse ,Future publishing please use a better ticket agency for next year as its bloody tedious having to do this

the peeps who sort the ticketing out sent me an email thanking me for ordering tickets when i haven't ordered any for a club or myself for at least 2 years, and they said "thank you mr anderson"
perhaps not a fail on epic proportions, but a fail nonetheless

which is why dan isn't the problem, or niel, or jamie, but seeing as their names are in the mag and everyone knows them, people may think they are to blame, not someone who' sitting behind a desk and doing stuff to do with ticket sorting outing

BUT
when you hear the words "ford fair" and have the advertising all across the future marketing machines publications and don't know the bloke who posts the tickets out you'd be of the onion that one of the peeps who runs the mag was in charge of the somewhat antiquated ticket delivery system
it's like someone at top gear fucking you about, the first person you would be shouting at is clarkson and not some little bloke in a portacabin who's on work experience
and to compound the fact is that the same person has been in charge for as long as i can remember and the waiting time for club tickets just gets longer and longer, how soon before he'll be standing at the gate handing them over

my mate ordered his ticket on weds with camping pass and it arrived on friday morning, in the past iv always had to wait til the last minute with clubs but got fed up with it so just order for myself

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
my club tickets turned up friday, which meant its cost me more to post out recorded delivery to make sure everyone gets their ticket on time, so next year guys can you get someone with a brain to print and post out the tickets or you wont have much of a show as no one will have tickets to get in.

Sorry to all who have struggled to get their tickets.
We use See tickets, as they're one of the largest ticket dispatchers in the country, and are used by the BBC, all mayor record labels etc etc.
It turns out the reason for them being late, wasn't See Ticket's fault (they don't actually send out the Club tickets) but the show car passes which come out with the tickets were delayed at the printers for some reason I can't fathom! The actual club tickets, which are sent out from here, couldn't be sent out without the passes, hence, they were delayed.
If anyone STILL hasn't got their club tickets and passes please call Jen Wagstaff on 01225 442244!
Also, the Showguide isn't just a map and timetable like most showguides, there's features, editorial stuff, a load of interesting Ford archive pictures etc in there, so at a fiver it's not actually that bad value for money.
Please see the other thread for the Club layout!!!
