no power to abs pump 2wd cossie
purple relay gets hot, green one gets hot, both fuses are ok as well.
relays click when ignition is turned on and off
Any ideas? Tried another pump and its the same. pump powers up ok from external source.
could it be the abs ecu?
Cheers.

Thanks for the offer Ran I'm in hull lol and I believe you are no where near lol.
I haven't tried different relays no, I dont have any spare but it's the next thing to check.
No Glenn, no power that we can tell. Power seems to get the relays then that's it.
Cheers!

Thought I posted on this earlier...
The pump will operate without the ECU connected - the pump's switched on by a pressure switch in the hydraulic unit, not by the ECU.
If the relays are hot they're either knackered or there's an earthing fault.
The relays are basic single pole single throw relays, so pretty much any cheap relay will do for diagnostic purposes. The green one powers the ECU, and the purple one powers the pump.

Thanks for your replies - it turned out to be the purple relay. Power goes in, it clicks, but it doesnt go out. Upon closer inspection it is rusted inside the relay.
