Default Noise restrictions .... @ Bedford etc ?

1 week to go n I still haven't sorted the exhaust for my car
atm im trying to put together a 3” single box system for my mk4 escort, but is it likely to be to loud for track use? (Regulation wise)
Car uses stg3 cossie engine @ 25psi flat out.
Am I likely to need another silencer in there?

i will second that,

you need atleast two silencers to pass normal track days,

only people who will stuggle normally only have one box fitted,

Typical, one thing I didn’t even think about was noise.
Just have to play it by ear then. (excuse the pun) and take it steady by mr mic I guess.

Martin
My car only uses one 3" Cossie back box, with a 4" tail pipe. Do they make them that big

They are very strict at bedford local authorities keep giving them hassles...
Steve scott had a 90 degree pipe with an extra silencer bolted to his tailpipe last time...killes the power but still had loads of fun.
Its worth sorting it as they will pull you over and spoil your day..
