Default Bikers and Cossies

Was out with my mate earlier (he has a rs500 cosworth) and we were coming home just about to turn off the ringroad when a motorbike (r6) pulls up next to him revving it up and generally acting like a nutter wanting to play.
My missus asked "Do you get that alot?" and my mate said "All the time"

Suprised me as everytime i have been out with him in it bikers always wanna play!, do any of you other cossie owners get it?

CheeRS Statey.

Big bikes are silly quick if you want to be playing with the big bikes you need 600bhp 4x4 and around 550rwd and you will only be sticking with them not beating them

Different league IMO!

True true but u cant stick to the back of some bikes, obviouslly not the big power ones, 300bhp is more than enough for this, but obviously depends on the bike in front of u

it all depends on rider/driver who has the biggest balls in most cases. u'll also find cars tend to brake better as the have more rubber on the road.

True mate, this Cossie is 550bhp but detuned to 450bhp for reliability, your old man mapped it Jimbo

Surely a bike weighs so much less than a car so it wouldnt matter if it only had 2 wheels?

I got a 4x4saph and a r1 there is a lot of people that under estimate the power of a bike truly awesome but I have to admit wen out on bike I do go looking for cossies for a tear up can't beat the sight of a saph on full boost with it's arse squAtting on the deck cossies get a lot of respect in the biking world to as there always clean and up for a bit of fun .but have to say not lost a race against one yet would love to meet one one on a ride out that destroys the r1 that would be unreal

Yes an R1 is a beast bud, this cossie has had a play with a couple of my mates 600s, and they were about the same, so a r1 is abit outta the question

My 2008 R1 will do 0-150mph in 11 secs.
Takes a lot of car to match it..
Bikes are awesome.
Would love a Cossie though.!

if you wont to play with bikes k5 750cc you need propper 400 horse car then you can push them up the road and pass them at 130 +i like bike and when i have them i do race cars and when i have cars a race bikes ! but bikes do stop quicker than cars!

mate seriously a 400 hp car aint gonna do shit against a modern 750cc sports bike unless its a 800 kg car.

It always seems unfair that the bike has to be standard . Pit mine against a highly modded bike & he will simply drive away .

Certainly a standard R1 is puffing hard above 175mph so a 700bhp Cossie will outgrunt it with ease, with less than 500bhp an R1 will eat a Cossie alive whatever young lads say in the pub .
The vid is against a works bike think its a Triumph perhaps the bikers will know, They were testing & he thought they would enter the straight at 100mph behind us & simply disappear at no point did he gain & big Power simply made it a no contest .
The rather excited young lads are my son & his mate who now owns a 500bhp Cossie & an R1 .

lol me with the silly voice i blame the cameras mic and yes it was a triumpth but to be honnest id still say you can hold an older 1000cc bike with 500bhp my r1 is an old one with only 130bhp and dosent carry bigger speeds on most roads up in the gears to be honest but new 1000s with 180+ bhp are a totaly different game!

no there not slow against most cars but a 400bhp mk2 escort will be faster lol but i bet if you met a 180bhp gsxr 1000 at 70 you would be left for dead

well ive just thrashed the fook out of my t reg r1 and raced a new aston no idea what one.. hammered him off the roundabout then was cruising at 110 with the wind and rain battering me when him and his missus glided past me just a tad quicker than me but looked nice and comfy and dry... wish id have moved out of his way when he was tailgating me now rather than thrash it away and end up looking silly..
