Hi is there anyway to identify an escort turbo block from a fiesta turbo block?

I think the fiesta block has a cps most escort blocks don't only late ones

yes the efi ( fiesta ) blocks have a crank postion sensor (cps)

Some late Escorts also had the CPS hole that was either bunged or more normally just left open
