How easy is it to code replacement keys for a mk1 focus

Also has anyone bought any off of ebay? Are they any good?

As long as you have both original keys you can do it yourself, the procedure is in the owners manual. If not then it's a dealer job.

Even with my brother being sales manager its costing me £120, just want another key as well just in case to avoid paying that again!!

Google it and you can get the instructions.I did mine,it,s easy and costs nothing as long as you have 2 keys already.
From what i can remember you turn the ignition on and off 8 times to open the code reader in the ecu,wait for a beep then put in the new key and start it.Get a fob off ebay for £5 and then get a blade cut for £5 ,job done.
