This place makes me laugh.
I started a thread about 3 months ago asking if compbrake where any good and I don't think there was one bad word said.
Then someone has a problem and everyones out the woodwork, glad I never went for them now

I am another victum of the Compbrake bandit! These guys should wear a mask, I mean really. My 6pot 350mm kit brake is a joke. I'm not sure what the problem is basically it don't fit. Spacers wrong size? Bolts too long? Holes drilled out of llne? etc etc
I'll post some pics up later.
Steer clear folks!! Pay the extra and get a decent brand.
Can anyone help me and post a pic of Compbrake kit fitted please?

ive got the bmw brembos and will be fitting 324mm focus rs discs. i got the brackets from caprisport about £40 i think.
i dealt with compbrake once and it took them ages to send me the track rod ends i ordered.
loads of compbrake stuff fitted so is this just a small number of faults being highlighted or oare they substandard?

As I wrote earlier I run the 4 pot/335mm setup
and I'm quite interested in what you and others have to say about these and other CompBrake produkts ?
Also I see that people dont like the Hawk pads ...can anyone tell me what the problem is and if you should find some replacements, what would be the best for fast road and a ocatioanally track session ???

I've bought several Compbrake big brake kits (at least 5 sets), adjustable TCAs, compression struts, pedal boxes and some other bits and pieces, never had any problems. Some of these are being used on rally cars and perform very well.
Everything has been bought through Tony though, which has always been extremely helpful, cant thank him enough for good help and advice

Could it be that Comp get them from Brembo and then "drill" (dont know the right word in english) Compbrake on the sides ?
