Default Best out of the box sleepers?

What do you lot think are the best out of the box sleepers? I've just been checking out cars I can't really afford on pistonheads, and I want to hear what you folks reckon a good out of the box sleeper is? My suggestions are-

2wd saph cos
Rover 214 gsi turbo
Rover 620 gsi turbo
Volvo T5

What do you think? (by the way, I'm not looking to buy a car at all, just felt like a discussion on the topic)

I'm liking these suggestions, I mentioned the 2wd saph as when they are completely stock, without bonnet vents or a big exhaust I think they look quite stealthy, and people may just mistake them for another 4 door saloon (people who know nothing about cars mind, anyone who knows the anything thing about cars will ususally recognize a cossie), what about bmw m5s? Not the current model. The ealier one (I know fuck all about BMWs).

EDIT: I see someone has already mentioned the BMW.

The B5 Audi S4, 2.7 V6 twin turbo, doesn't look much different to the normal A4 but has 265bhp, 4wd and lots of tuning potential.

CL65 merc, smart looking coupe, doesn't look much different from the CL500, but kicks out 612hp and was down tunned to that, v12 twin turbo

also as said before GMC syclone/typhon pickups, back in the early 90's a syclone would hit 60 in 4 seconds, v6 turbo 4wd auto,

buick GNX ( black car vin diesel drove at start of fast4) believe same engine as syclone but rear drive car

Would be an 850 T5 for me. They looked really standard in most cases, often didn't have spoilers and things.

To the everyday man and woman on the street its just another big BMW. Theres nothing that jumps out and smacks you in the face and says "Im an M5" like big spoilers or vents everywhere.

I'm liking these suggestions, can't beat a nice sleeper, i remember the old cherry turbos MO, they look rubbish, but were pretty nippy, also, what about the charrade GTTI? That was a pretty quick car for something that looked like a cerial box on wheels. My dad was given one for a weekend when he worked for Daihatsu, said it was a real hoot to drive, and left an xr3i cab for dust. The xsara vts is a good one, look pretty tame but the seem to go well. keep em coming folks.

I can see where Mo is comming from, I don't think they are real sleepers now (given that most hot hatches come with 200bhp+) but back in the early 90s I reckon they could of been if they were left standard looking they would of been. I mean I know they have bodykits and bonnet vents, but its not like they are in your face the way an escort cos is is it?

Ah the old lotus carlton, definately a sleeper, probably quick enough to still keep up with the modern versions too.

WTF! Certainly wouldn't keep up with a standard Cossie (Rover being standard). It's a big old car and only has a baby turbo. Friend of mine had a 2 year old one and he coud only just hold even with my brothers then standard Fiesta RS Turbo
