Does the coolant temp sensor have anything to do with the fuel pump priming before cranking,reason I ask is been having a few starting issues of late where fuel pump doesn't prime before cranking engine,I've replaced crank sensor & the phase sensor but car is still playing up,but I've noticed now that it seems to do it more from cold & once car is up to normal running temps it primes 1st time & starts on 1st turn of the key,so this is why I'm asking for the information on the coolant temp sensor & is it related to priming of the fuel pump, any help would be appreciated many thanks

possibly... check the resistance of the sensor to be sure, easiest way is probably to check the resisance of the Brown ACT sensor and the blue ECT sensor when the engine is stone cold, should read pretty much identical.

if it was me i would put new sensors in. There arnt that dear.
