Escos oil query!
The oil gauge in an escos is it suppose to stay still? Ive just noticed today that when you are at idle in drops to the bottom(red) and then once you are on the move it goes up and stays about centre!!
Is this normal???

should be on 4 bar + from cold start up
once warm, driving over 3000 rpm should be up to 4 bar
on idle an around 1-2
should NOT drop in to the red!
what oil are you using?

When using Mobil 1 motorsport, mine would just drop into the red at idle. Changed to Castrol RS and then to MOtul and when hot it's a couple of mm above the red.
Oil pressure is related to revs, so as these go up your oil pressure should go up to.
