Scumball rally, budget European tours etc
I know a few people have done these sort of things before on here....
Ones where you buy a car for like £200 and drive across Europe, copying the Cannonball/Gumball type events.... although with a little less glamour!
Which of all of these organised events is the most respected/proper one to do?
One of my mates wants to do this as part of a stag do, and it could be a good laugh...
Any info I should know?

I did the Scally Rally in 2008, which ran from northern France, through Switzerland and the Alps, into Italy, stopping in Venice and finishing in Rimini.
It was absolutely fantastic! I'm not sure if they still do that one, but it was truly amazing. Stunning scenery, stunning roads (included Stelvio Pass and Dolomite Road), and some really funny experiences (including a fair chunk of booze!).
Highly recommended!

Here's the one I did http://www.scallyrally.co.uk/
In this!
Couple of random snaps...
Got to the top of mountain pass in extreme bad weather, but it was closed as someone in a people carrier was hanging off the edge of it
Would love to do it again!

i did modball 2007 eventful it was
"The first ever Modball Rally took place in June 2007 with over 150 cars at the O2 Arena starting grid. The route began in London and ventured through Amsterdam, Cologne, Prague, Vienna with a casino party, Milan with a live performance from the Fuel Girls before finishing with an awards party in Lyon. On day two of the rally the Modball made German Television and the front page of every German newspaper for being surrounded by 100 German Police cars during a car display at the Cologne Arena. Despite having permission to go through Germany three cars were caught speeding on the hard shoulder in Düsseldorf at over 150 mph (240 km/h) resulting in the chief of German Police classing the event as a illegal street race. The result left each Modball vehicle with a fine of €173 and a Police escort to Belgium taking over 10 hours. This however didn't stop the Modballers from making the next party in Prague as they drove their cars through the night. It was for this reason the award for 'Spirit of the Modball' went to every team on the rally."

I did modball a couple of weeks ago, the route was awsome... London - Paris - Cannes - Venice - Rome - Geneva - Home....
the roads and drive were awsome, but i wouldnt go with Modball again, costs $1000 (pound sign wont work!) and tbh, the hotels were badly organised, never enough room to park all the cars, parties promised that never surfaced, or parties 30mins away from the hotels were ment to be staying at, and the trip was supposed to be topped off with after partys in London and a trip to the Ring, but both never happened!!!
Altho i got to meet Lucy Pinder and Rhian Sugden as they came along, so i spose it wasnt the end of the world!!!

muhahahaha £400 plus £250 just to drive there with them?before any other costs?christ,i went to the ring 2 weeks ago, ferry was £48 return for both me and passenger and our hotel room was £150 for both of us for the 4 days (3 nights) we were there and that included breakfast and a garage area to park a couple of cars and do oil changes etc if needed (we did,we had just run an engine in on the way down!!)!that looks like a good way to con people out of cash, just get some mates together, phone a hotel, ask for a group discount and go have fun,WAY cheaper and probably more fun too.

Stelvio was open when we did it, but was soaking wet, with snow on the top.
On the previous day a coupe of the other passes were closed. We tried to go over one (the one pictured) and got turned around cos there'd been an accident. Then we got lost trying to get to the hotel and ended up going over an even higher one where the weather was worse
