Ive been thinking of selling all the overpriced YB crap from my sierra and putting a Saab lump in instead, SBD do an adaptor that puts it straight onto the gearbox, so just a case of making a few mounts and an exhaust and its done.

I didn't want to reply to this but MO you're talking absolute bollox. I worked as a ralliart technician and loved the evo to bits, great cars and fantastic engines, power delivery fantastic obviously only if running correctly. As Chip said pound for pound go swedish! Saab 9000 is one of my favourites! My best mate has a 2.3 running a GENUINE 400BHP at the wheels all built on a very tight budget and it is an absolute monster!
I don't think personally Fords and Jap cars can be compared, they have different characteristics. Personally if I wanted say 400bhp and was chasing figures i'd be starting with an Evo. On a personal note Mo I think your full of shite!

Well I like N/A engines but to get big power from them mostly you need lots of pot lots of cc lots of valve area which is normaly found in cars I can only dream of .so yer me ford six pot will do just fine.

mo what have you done to make your rs turbo the best in the uk? as i know it aint the best in the uk because my mate owns the cleaness most well prepare s2 in the uk , also with the second most powerful zetec turbo in the uk at 532bhp.
your car has been done many times now and 300bhp is an easy starting point and doesnt require to much effort or knowledge .
and if evos etc are shit why are 90% of time attack cars evo most run 500+bhp with a few running 800bhp?
maybe its the tuner you use not mapping them up properly as ive never seen one blow up to be honest , and i was surpised when i first joined this forum that how many 500bhp cossie engines needed rebuilding because of problems , and i thought fuck me i hope my engine lasts a bit longer but it probably wont being a zetec as i the cossie engine was designed for motorsport use and the zetec was a production block.
maybe if you didnt come on here with such silly comments people would think your a twat
