Welcome Jamie. Amazing car. So classy for a supra and so so so well thought of and modded.

I LOVE IT.

I fancy a new car... and weirdly considering I always loved them I have never owned a Supra.... and been thinking that I dont use my M3 or 996Turbo at all really.... I could sell 2 cars I dont use and buy 1 cheaper car that I wont use Been promising myself I wouldnt buy any more cars... but this would actually be getting LESS, so is a good move.

Gotta love MAN LOGIC

What will actually happen is you will INTEND to sell the other 2, but buy a supra first, then spend 100K on modifying it, then realise you forgot to sell the M3 and 996 cause you leant them to someone, and end up with one more car not one less.

But I admire your ability to lie to yourself convincingly

Awesome car Jamie P, have always loved the supras and its great to see how far one can go whilst still being relatively useable

Go for it Porkie, you won't regret it, amazing cars if built right.

Happy to take you for a spin in mine if you are passing.

I've also got a V8 supra that should be fun when finished, LS400 1UZ engine, manual box, aerotop, and soon to be turbocharged.

1UZ engine's are epic, and SO much lighter than the 6 pot too.

9Krpm and 2 bar of boost into a V8 for not a lot of money is as good as it gets engine wise I reckon!

AWESOME OFFER!!!

yes pls

Will deffo take you up on that!

I saw the other Supra on PH. Glad you ditched those wheels and bonnet!

I'll bring my Westfield over. I know you have a 1000bhp Supra and its MUCH MUCH faster and better in everyway....

But I bet its not a scary or dangerous or as pointless as a 500bhp+ Cosworth turbo powered, 6speed sequential fibre glass bathtub

Thanks again. As I have said on your PH thread. Massive fan of your car and how you have gone about the whole thing.

Can't wait to see it. Let alone go in it

Just out of curiosity, is this the one that was featured in Redline mag earlier this year/end of last year?

Or just buy one that's already had the 100k thrown at modding it.....

The fugly wheels would have to go, but other than that it's pretty much the real deal.

I'd love a ride out in one of these Supra's being talked about on this thread!

This one's not the prettiest of Supra's but it's got a fairly healthy engine spec

Looking at all these Supra's.... Jamie's seems the ONLY owner with ANY taste.

They are all embarrassingly hideous fast and furious chavmobiles!

Jamies car with the Rod Millen wing and some CCW's is pretty much my dream car since i was 16, i remember spending afternoons in Plymouth City College's library browsing supraforums as i only had 56k internet at home

CCW's on Supras are just pure win!

DO IT!

Only problem is your F430 wont feel very special after getting out of a car that has double its power and more creature comforts!

Standard Supra got these figures aswell:

Despite its curb weight, in 1994 the Mark IV managed a remarkable skidpad rating of 0.95 lateral g's (200 ft) or 0.98 lateral g's. (300 ft)[19]

The Mark IV Supra also featured a four-sensor four-channel track tuned ABS system with yaw control whereby each caliper is sensored and the brakes are controlled individually according to the speed, angle, and pitch of the approaching corner. This unique Formula One-inspired braking system allowed the Supra Turbo to record a 70 mph (113 km/h) -0 braking distance of 149 ft (45 m),[20] the best braking performance of any production car tested in 1997 by Car and Driver magazine. This record was finally broken in 2004 by a Porsche Carrera GT, which does it in 101 ft (31 m) .

Supra : Ł40k

Carrera GT : Łtons more.

Speaks for itself really!

It would. Trust me.

Ask Chip. He has driven it... think he was expecting it to be a bit pony and underwhelming and boring. Just a posing pouch.

I was as well actually!

Its neither. Its awesome and I love it. and WILL love it... until the 458spider comes out anyway

Sorry mate, but your bumper and side skirts are exactly that in my view.

BUT we all have different tastes. and YOU like it

and thats whats important!

Its certainly a very special car mechanically. I just much prefer the style and simplicity and purity of Jamies.

I think you can get away with it as you have the speed, its definetly not class im afraid.

Yours is almost a sleeper because 99% of the chavved supras out there are NA Auto's

I was expecting it to be basically like a 355 but a bit more so, ie a nice package, pleasant place to be but ultimately lacking any real performance, its fuck all like that though, its basically like riding a big bike, just endless but very smooth acceleration anywhere you want it.

And yet still comfortable quiet (off throttle) and easy to drive.

First car I have ever been in that I really can see what a super car is I think, it just has NO faults IMHO (other than the pricetag doesnt suit a pauper like me), does everything very well indeed and really does have proper performance too, even compared to most modified cars.

Disclaimer: was wearing my rose tinted specs a bit as the sun was out and the roof was down, and I was in an awesome mood as was in the middle of a great holiday at the ring with fantastic people, other 430 driving experiences may vary

My wheels are magnesium fikse's, 11x18 front and 12x18 rear, i got them from prodrive.

Stock body or the stock body look is best imo, mine is wide arch but retains the stock look, i have carbon Nur motorsport arches on mine, 65mm wider each side at the back and 40mm wider the front.

Sure, it's not my every day car but I have took it to work every day this week as the weather has been nice, it's easy to drive off boost, long journeys can become tiresome as the exhaust is so loud.

Quick Reply: Supra 0-200mph 18secs on low boost
