Thats great i paused it at 199 so a genuine 0-200mph in 18 secs that is so fast lads it really is. I wish i had an idea of the distance to see if this car may be capable of getting near the Brunters record of 223mph 
.
It will probably run at a future Vmax so i may get to see it have a go at that.

is that using a wheel speed sensor? the only way you can use gps speed is throu data logger etc, the way pulls to 200 it would seem like it could do about 230 easy

If you only need an 'idea of distance'
you have rough time and speed at lots of points!
Its pretty simple math to just get an idea!

Start Velocity is 0m/s

Acceleration of 4.9667m/s
Formula is v2=u2+2as (2=squared)
Means a total distance give or take a bit to be around 800meters.
I have not taken into account weight or drag etc.

he did afaik 138 mph at 10.5 with much less power, i think hes aiming for 9s on drag radials at suprapod.
i think this is pretty much the supra to own in this country, for track, street and drag, i emailed jamie about this car about a year ago now and iirc i offered him Ł40000 for it but he declined so i left it that if he does ever sell give me first refusal, i wouldnt now though obviously as i have my own.
lots of r and d gone into it, and thats why i wont run on drag radials yet as jamie has experienced himself my diff will explode and the prop will twist in half !
hes a nice guy aswell and willing to help and advice from his experience.

Hmmm... I quite fancy a 911 (996) turbo for my next car, 650Bhp is do-able on stock internals, 800+with a build isn't too scary 
. Just wondering what sort of returns Supras put out for the Ł? IIRC 600+ on std internals with the right turbo?

no doubt it can be done cheaper i only know what my invoices tell me from my car but it was pretty much a money no object build by previous owner, pity it didnt have more focused spending it would be over 1000 ps now if it had of done, but then again he probably wouldnt of sold it if it had so its all good
im sure jamie will put up some rough figures when hes back on here from his car.
theres no doubt in my mind that 2jzs are the cheapest horsepower Ł for Ł ever made

Cheers guys, with a good base car (6speed twin turbo) you can get 650-700bhp for about 15 grand if you choose your parts wisely, at that power they are pretty mad, its hard to find a nice ones that's already been done, owners tend to keep the good ones, plenty of dogs out there so watch out, im happy to look over the spec of any that people are considering to buy.

The more I look at these and watch the YouTube vids, the more I think about ditching the saph and getting one!! Never really gave them much thought tbh! 
I'd buy one for the sound alone!!!

Been watching his build thread for yonks on PH. Absolutely awesome car and so subtle compared to other Supras with silly bodykits. Love the way its still his road car too.
Hasnt he just had 3 of the same engines built so he can have 2 as spares or something daft like that? More money than sense.
