Default pinto build options

Basically i have a MK indy 2 seater track car which has all ford running gear and a pinto engine, I was told by the seller it was a 2.1, ported head, vernier pulley etc but since pulling it out its not, it does have a kent fast road 32 cam in (no vernier!) and 20hc .5 written on the top of the pistons so cant be a 2.1, so my question is what pistons should i go for to make it a 2.1 i dont really want to use the v6 piston as ive been told there a bit heavy etc, im using the standard crank cossie rods, head is being ported with single piece valves and 3 angled seats, also being skimmed, any help would be appreciated, oh its running bike carbs but im unsure exactly what size they are or what there off, i will investigate this and post some pics up, thanks

Accralite's seem to be quite popular, but any well known brand would be fine I would of thought, what sort of compression ratio do you want?

The V6 ones at +90 will make it 2086cc roughly, as this is what I used to run, unless it has bore/wear problems, save your money, would be a huge amount more cost effective spending elsewhere than a few ccs extra, ie headwork or better still lightened flywheel.
The V6 pistons aren't especially heavy either, but will be ok with any rpm you will get to with that cam, I used to hit 7600rpm with the V6 pistons without issues.

No, 0.5 mm is 20 thou, to get near 2.1 the V6 + 90 thou pistons are used.
