I have no idea what the rules are like at trackdays on the ring but it sounds like they're not particularly strict.
We did the hungaroring and briefing was a 5 min chat about when lunch was, I even asked them to go through the flags as I felt quite nervous that some of the trackday newbies were going to try and own the track !
Has anyone on here done Spa ?

I've done the Nuburgring grand prix track and it was crazy!
No warm up or sighting lap. I left the pit lane with my session thinking we were going to do a sighting lap, but then cars suddenly started overtaking me. Next thing a Lotus race car overtook seemingly on the wrong side through a twisty section. Another 5 minutes and I'm catching something up in the distance which turns out to be a biker! He moved out of the way and to his credit didn't accelerate hard on the start/finish so i wouldn't have to pass again on the bends - but bikes and cars on the same track?!!!
Anything goes it seems overtake anywhere, outbrake - the Lotus would have been black flagged on any UK circuit for sure!

Done about 75 laps in total and there are several under 9mins for sure but i don't care about times as long as i've fun and the car and me stays in 1 piece
In October i'll be driving 4 laps with instructor, 1 lap in Porsche GT3, 1 in Ferrari 430, 1 in Lambo Gallardo and 1 in Audi R8 Limited Edition

It may be me being a wuss, but I would not dare do a quick lap without a helmet on. I have watched loads of laps on youtube and am amazed how many people dont wear helmets.
