People talking like this is a Ł50 note found in the street.
These are someone's cars they've obviously deliberately stored in a building on their private land.
All this talk about dibs and going back with a trailer... FFS, if I turn up at your house, see a car in a garage, take some pictures then start with comments about coming back later to take it how would you react?
Somehow the reactions are different when it's your car getting the attention or disappeared on a trailer...

its not a mexico mate it was a 1.1 its actually bronze/red oxide!
It had the correct AVO plate under the bonnet, but then again it might have been a converted 1300E?
I heard that the RS shells had slightly thicker chassis rails as the ultimate way to know? But I never got to test that! It had the gussets under the front wings on the suspension tops, anti tramp bars at the back, stone deflector studs in the boot floor, black headlining, beta cloth interior and some small tilt only bucket seats?
As far as I was aware it was an original, and I joined the RSOC with it.
I sold it as a restoration project, along with a shed load of spares and another 2 door shell for next to nothing in about 2000 iirc. How how I wished I had not! I had that Mex for over 10 years!
I might have 1 or 2 pics somewhere of it stripped down.
I did see a genuine one at the RSOC national day 2009 at Donnington. An old fella had it. When I saw it I thought it was my one from a distance! My heart started pounding!! But alas, it was not
