Default anyone know the make of this car

found this car in a old abandoned air field shed today the site is over grown with some old huts buildings ect looks like the site has not been used for years anyway anyone know make model of this car pics to follow

Its got the look of a Rover P3 but i am not sure.

the head looks alot like an old rover, got a pic of the other side a bit closer up? can probably get the car identified at work tomorrow, we have a few 'old shit specialists'.

A car from my boyhood. In 1954 Stirling Moss won the Alpine Rally in a modified one of these. My favourite car as a lad & i vowed to own one.
Averaged 120mph over the flying kilometer back in 1954 so quick back then.
It could be bought as a convertible.
Think it was badged an Alpine after that victory its nearly 60 years back so memory a bit off maybe.

A convertible went through the auction too. Was a barn find although in much better condition than the car at the top of this thread
