It was also sold to the owner of gatebil , who I believe now sold it on again and uses a nascar powered M5 , Tiffs right , car was written off during a hillclimb event and then rebuilt bigger and better .
I think Stian himself is building some kind of nutty Fiesta

It ran on the Saturday for about 5 laps before being pulled in - 115db on the drive-by IIRC! LOL
The Saturday night all the pit garages were broken into and Vegard's BDT-powered Mk1 was found with the fuel tank filler open so he didn't want to risk starting it until they'd dropped the tank out.
The thieving bastards tried starting Stian's car for some time as all the relays had blown / melted. Thank god he took his ECU out!
Understandably he was properly pissed off that this happened. Scotty leant him some fuses and helped him get it running which was good of him.
Then - and this is the most ironic and frustrating thing. He told me he would run it up and down the road at the back of the circuit - if everything check out he wanted to get straight out on track... the high-vis wearing knobber on the secuirty gate wouldn't let him out as it didn't have a numberplate on it - hardly for him to make a judgement on the road-worthyness of someone's car (and extra ironic as an RS500 was driven out of the same gate during the night without them knowing).
After that he went into a rage (he's known in Norway for his temper)... and didn't want to go out - which I don't blame him for one bit... and there we have it.

When Stian sold it to Leif Nilsen (ex owner of gatebil) he just sold the shell, engine and drive train is going in his Fiesta rally cross car. Leif had just sold his rallycross Mk6 Escort, and engine and drive train from this ended up in the wrc car, and paint it silver. The guy ho owns it now, have had some gearbox troubble, and nearly never useing it

Have not seen this car been driven, since Leif Nilsen owned it, it has been on gatebil, but stand in a garage there.

Surterly 115db isn't actually that loud, when a powerful ICE install in a show car is 125-130db+

Wasn't exactly crap in silver, but I think it carried a little more respect in blue with the original owner/builder.
Some must have recent pics and info about it??? A car like this doesn't just drop off the face of the earth
