Running Kawasaki ZX-9R Carbs - Filter Advice
Have a kit car project with a mate at the moment and its running a full ZX-9R Ninja engine.
We want to get shot of the air box though and replace with individual filters for each carb or a twin/quad filter. Either way loose the massive air box!
Notice a few of you have fitted these carbs to Zetec engines, so hoping someone might be able to help, with what trumpets/filter set ups you have used.
Thanks.

Bikes tend to run a lot better with the airbox in place so I suggest leaving it.
However, if you like the look of seperate filters and enjoy the massive noise they will produce on the go, I suggest ITG filters.
They have both seperate filters as well as in-line filters.
I personally don't like the K&N ones and dear Lord: whatever you do never buy the cheap knock offs either!
Might be worth sorting out some sort of rainshield if the filters are exposed to the elements.
