im looking at the efr 7064, they look good and even though there expensive u dont need external wastegate etc. Is yours the EFR range, please let us all know how they performed

I like the addition of the bolt on amal valve, what kinda spec has it got Mark and what sort of power are you hoping to acheive?

Its a 7670 and this is good for 650hp and its going on a Evo and looking at 580hp,
It also has a dump valve built in.

is one not a boost control solenoid and the other a turbo speed sensor?
edit-- just had a look they have a speed sensor take off aswel
so did you get the twin scroll ?

A turbo speed sensor is a option, that turbo does not have it fitted.

I keep on at my mate with the red evo to get you to put a different turbo on, you should phone him up and and talk the talk and get him booked in lol
his more about response than power now a days, but i say why not have both

See look at that, Lovely.. his is a 2.2 so would be even better, you should phone him up' tell him you have that valve or controller or what ever he is missing so you can map it above 1.8 bar or what ever.. get him through the door and say look what i can get you... and wham before you know it theirs a BW fitted... happy days

On the EFR the internal housing is smaller so tech less power and more back pressure.

Thats bad though rite, so why didnt u choose a turbo with external wastegate or do they not come as an option on the efr?

No you would need to add it, It also depends on what manifold you have and what turbo option/size you wanted, It may not fit on a 2wd manifold but I need to get a T3 flanged one to know.

So in your opinion is the external option worth the 400quid ish or however much it costs in relation to actuall benifits you'll see on the road

Depends on hp and if the turbo fits on a 2wd manifold, if it doesnt then you need to add the cost of the manifold also.
