Default do i need lights?

ok, so i'm about to start this weekend on the saph so i need to know what i need and what i don't n the way of lights if i want to track/drift it

obviously no lights makes life much easier as then all i'll need is an engine loom and a fuel/temp gauge and a speedo/rev counter set up

but if i need everything then it's going to be a bit more of a pain in the arse

think you need lights on track - defo need indicators as you need to indicate to traffic behind you are moving over.

I'd stick with the lights, then also get it road legal and scalp a few cars/roundabouts

i was thinking of finding one of these kit car type places that do seperate looms for seperate bits, then i could simply plug the lighting loom in as and when i needed it

needs a few small bits to finish like the number plate lights, as thos got a bit cut off in the crash lol

You don't need lights for track work afaik, and certainly not for the mot, if wanted as you can get a daylight mot.

As I was at Snetty earlier today I checked, for track days the proviso is it needs to be "road legal", you can get daylight mot's, the only thing they said was if it was a overcast day and drivers were asked to put on lights, you would have to come in, pretty sure if purely track car/daylight mot car then only rear rain light needed.
