Default overhalling cossie rear brakes help

As titled im overhalling the rear brakes on my saph there 4x4 calipers.. im having trouble getting them back together and the cosworth workshop manuall and the haynes manuall both list a ford tool 12-007 for compressing the rear disk caliliper adjuster spring.
i have tried to do it withought this tool and everything i try doesent work
ive been down to fords to buy said tool which they dont list and cant find anywhere on the system
can someone please tell me where i can get one from or lend me one as i need to get the brakes back together
anyone please ......

thinking or doing this myself as new calipers are about 200 pounds and a seal kits are about 15 pounds

im going to try make up this tool if
i get no joy, its fairly simple appart from this one part to do .... i will let you know how i get on

Correct, one reason why I never bothered overhauling mine and just got them replaced on an exchange basis as mine had the usual siezing problem, I paid alot less then Ł200 for mine!

I guess the tool is out there somewhere I think it can be made by grinding down an old piston IIRC.

I have done this loads of times (rebuild rear calipers)

do you have the internal spring fitted yet with the circlip to hold it in place? or is this the step you are at??

Thats not the tool, thats a piston rewind tool, (Ford number 12-006).

tried that and it dident work
but made up a tool to do it it and its all sorted now
